Want to throw your own two cents into the ongoing debate about the longevity and viability of the nation’s LGBT press?
Then join us in San Francisco Thursday, September 2 for the 7th annual LGBT Media Summit where that question and other concerns and issues confronting both print and digital LGBT media will be front and center during the daylong discussion with industry leaders.
The summit kicks-off the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association’s 20th national convention taking place Sept 2-5.
In addition to a frank look at the state of LGBT Media, other panels will explore if the gay press is getting its bang for the bucks it is spending on online and smartphone platforms; hear how TV and radio LGBT programs are surviving on the country’s airwaves; and how documentarians confront bringing real life LGBT stories to the big screen.
