NLGJA's Las Vegas Chapter will again present a critics brunch and panel discussion on the state of LGBT people in modern American cinema, this year taking place on Sunday, October 21, to coincide with NeonFest, the Las Vegas LGBT film festival.
Chapter treasurer Tony Del Valle will moderate the discussion (entitled "Does Hollywood Hate Homos?"), which will feature Josh Bell of Las Vegas Weekly, Mike Prevatt of Las Vegas CityLife, Judy Thorburn of TheFilmChicks.Com and UNLV film professor Dave Schmoeller.
Taking place at Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant in the Commercial Center Plaza (953 East Sahara Avenue), the event will begin at 11:00 AM on Sunday, October 21. A buffet brunch will be provided. Current NLGJA members are welcome at no cost, and non-members and guests can join for $20 per person.
