Did You Know?

NLGJA’s online job board is an excellent resource for:

• NLGJA members seeking a new job.
• NLGJA members seeking information about journalism awards programs.
• NLGJA members seeking scholarships, internships and fellowships.
• Recruiters seeking to fill positions.
• NLGJA members considering a career-shift and interested in learning about qualifications for other journalism positions.

Logging In

Visit the NLGJA homepage and find the login fields in the left column. Log into the members only section by using your username and password. Your username is the first letter of your first name followed by your entire last name. Your password is your NLGJA membership ID number printed on your membership card.

Access the job board by moving your cursor to the purple navigation bar at the top of the screen that reads "Members Only Features.” Choose “NLGJA Job Board” from the menu.

Job Board Categories

To make browsing our job board easier, listings are divided into several categories, including: 

• Journalism Award Programs
• Broadcast Jobs
• Educators
• Online Jobs
• Photojournalism Jobs
• Print Jobs
• Public Relations/Communications
• Fellowships
• Internships
• Scholarships

Simply click on a category to view a list of jobs. From this screen you can view the job header and when it was posted. Clicking on the header will display the complete job listing and description. Listings are added and updated multiple times weekly.

Posting a Job

If you are seeking applicants for jobs, you can get them posted on our job board for free. To submit a job, please contact NLGJA at info@nlgja.org. NLGJA only accepts jobs submitted via e-mail.
